    nah, its more like:
    "should i get a gts-t or gts-4?"

skip those inferior options and get the gtr.

BFG doesn't come out with a new tire all that often but when they do it's usually quite comparable to anything on the market at the time.
I run BFG and they are fairly quiet. Like said above, hear a little bit of noise on rough surfaces, but hardly noticeable (I run a fairly harsh suspension setup that has more NVH).

I have run Pirelli, Goodyear, Falken, BFG tyres on a Skyline. I prefer Bridgestone semi slicks on a GTR, which is very quiet, very grippy.

The more I look at the the Ventus R-S3 the more I like them, the price point is hard to beat for a tire that will get you to and from the track and hold up to track and street duty without wearing out in 1000km. I wish they made them in a 245/50r16 for my GTR wheels, I think they would do well at the drag strip as well.
You won't be disappointed. Check out Discount Tire Direct. They had the best over all price when I bought mine.

Awesome info guys, thanks! Still leaning towards Hankooks mostly based on past experience and should work well with my suspect setup:

Ohlins coilover, AMS fuca ruca tension rods, strut braces front and rear.

I can only speak to the track performance of these tires and they are subpar.

Bridgestone RE-11 are a great all round tire that are very respectable at the track.

The sleeper tire is the Conti Extreme DW. It is ok in the dry but comes alive in the wet. To get a better wet weather tire you have to go to a Hoosier Wet Rcomp. It is also a great value. I run these on my OEM wheels. They plow thru standing water like nothing.
