Hey guys! Have a couple questions that I need answered.
Just got my motor rebuilt since piston 6 had a chunk missing, 5 and 2 had bad rings. Anyways I pulled it out with the transmission attached. Is there anyway that the gear oil could have leaked out of the transmission if I pulled it out as one whole unit? The reason I'm asking is because the previous owner on Japan sealed the fill plug into the transmission making it impossible to get it out.
I know the front and rear cases for the AWD system drained so I refilled them already. I'm just worried about the tranny, last thing I want is my tranny blowing up on me.
Also I'm having issues putting the power steering pump back on can anybody explain or have a diagram on how it mounts back to the motor?
I'm sure there's a few more questions I have but those are the main ones. Been working on it all day time to get some sleep. Thanks in advance for the help.
