No doubt the kit looks nice... but i think back on cars i've modded on my own <import/domestic>and i am not ur backyard/bodyman engine builder...but i'm commenting on kit quality per press/ease of mount/adaption and fit. gauge/quality of steel and press and plain ol'elbow work.Is it a kit ur average back yard car lover can attempt an afford?? it all comes with a cost but to what extent and what category of buyers is the target should be considered here. a $3500 kit that is a pro install only? whats it gonna cost a guy to have installed dry/modified/mounted then body work done/painted is not just a slap together appearance upgrade, but a complete car investment in the long run...so the 8.5-14k skyline is now costing???Over and above just looking like a r34 that has cost ya a lot of $$.. would a guy come close to recovering as much put in as to what it may look whats i may be worth? It wont depreciate at all to me but bottom line is this major possible job/cost good lookin kit really worth all the $$/hype/stress and work in the long run...
I just don't think so myself even tho i like the look of what i seen.... What ya'll think?
my 3 pennies worth...

The work being put into this, is yes Extreme just for appearance. But its not an R32 with a bodykit. its a Replica R34. Selling this kit without installation will be a hard sale because the new owner will pay 8-10K for labour to install this at a professional autobody shop. The idea is to Show the finalized work. and Possibly create a market for MWRACING build R34's Named MWR34.
This month I will have more Bee-r Build threads for customers cars I have agreed to make. There is money out there ....somewhere.Fast isn't Fast enough

I see Your goal and point... the job done so far looks good and is commendable. It's just other than a fine few with a spare car and a large pocket will be tempted to even attemp what you've done... yes it looks good/done right and worth it to you and whom ever in the future that may buy it if you ever sell it... but at the end of the day is there a demand for it do to the harshness of what it entails cause its not minor/conversion... not to mention the poor guys who may drool their pockets dry to do this to their ride and make the worst decision in body shops which butcher the cars/slap on the kit and bondo the crappy job clean.
For those interested in this conversion... make sure you body shop is of top quality/be there as much as possible and be sure to ask/bitch or comment on the job along the way... Ya get what ya pay for and Martin isnt responsible for bad installs or a crappy lookin coversion due to bad body/install jobs..
lol.. my 3 pennies worth

I think the finished product and the money involved reflects the outcome.
And the fine few who can afford the project or completed car, will have a rare car they can be proud of, and feel confident that there is a good chance they will not drive past another one on the way to work like soo many other desired cars on the road today.Fast isn't Fast enough

i agree with your point,
So what your saying is this is not a good choice for the small pocket guy or potential future dreamers/owners? but for the large pocket/elite few skyline owners who can afford to go the mile to be 1 of a small few to own and brag of their financial investment on the conversion done to their ride.
I like your kit and commend the final product but its not much of a sales pitch to the prospect buyers/newbies/wanna b's or future owners .that to have a cool looking car ya gotta spend a small fortune or more than one paid for or the end result could be worth is what im gettin at.
I just wish ya best of luck in sales of it,cause if i could afford to do it i think i would myself...

everyone is more than welcome to purchase everything yourself and Wing it.
I went with OEM parts for quality, fitment, and personal choice.
Others have the choice to research and build your own car like I have.
The Path I have chosen is the expensive route, but hopefully it will show in the end. And yes the way this perticular car is being build alot of people cannot justify/afford spending 8-10K in parts.. and then 8-10K in labour for Looks with no performance benefits.
thread will be updated when more pictures and progress made.. thanks everyone.Fast isn't Fast enough

I agree and disagree with you. Any car mod no matter make or model, there is low/med and high end things that could be done. It all depends on who, what and how much they really want to spend on making the car look good. It's a total personal opinion on what looks good and doesn't and if it's worth it or not.

I think a big thing no one has really mentioned here, is were talking about 15k for a stock GTR, 10k for the kit installed, 3k for rim/rubber, 2k for suspension, 2k for intake/exhaust.
15
10
3
2
______
30K
Now that's $30,000 for a pimp ride that will be very fast, look really good, handle amazing and is still about $20,000 cheaper then buying a STI/EVO. Sure you might have some extra maitanence cause it's an older car, but there are a lot less computer dependant parts that if break down, don't cripple the car and force you to take it to a dealer.
And for anther $10k you can make the car stupid fast, and your only at 40k
