I think I liked it better before the hood, you should paint it black.

      Haha, serious.

that TS hood has always been my favorite on the GT-R's, looks awasome personally i think it would look better painted black to match the car, either way

There is acctually holes in the rad support from the factory that are hiding under the rubber sealer thinger. Your supposed to use those.

Yeah I was aware of those, but I like the look of how spread apart they are as they are now, so im not too worried.

No real updates as of late, doing some maintenance on the car before I order some more tuning goodies before I throw in the AEM ecu. I think I have also decided to go with 1 turbo rather than 2 turbos, so I am looking for kits at the moment that can do 500-600HP

I wish I had waited to find a nice black GTR. Sadly I had to settle for silver. It's too late to back out now and it's $10k too much to repaint the whole car. Nice ride anyways, doesn't look old and dated like my lemon. What's your project time frame? 2-3 years? I'm in saskatchewan right now actually, and I must say I like the roads here more than home cause there's never anyone on them lol. The only down side is that when there's a pothole, it's a real killer. About the Tomei fuel rail you want, what's the 555/600cc mean? That rail should be good for well over 800cc. As for going with the HKS sqv, I got the new one and I'm not overly impressed with it. I haven't figured out how to adjust the tension (most likely can't cause there's nothing on the outside and you have to pull everything out to get it apart anyways). It had alright sound, kinda loud civic/ricer like. I guess once I pipe it in to recirculate it'll be better. I'm not a fan Atmospheric, it dumps lots of fuel on throttle release and idles oddly, I'll get some more research done before completing the install. The HKS sqv BOV II is the race model I think, which is adjustable. The thing is, just driving around town I look like a riceboy with a loud bov going off just by shifting even offboost... I suggest getting an adjustable BOV.
                  No build thread.

Lot's of people say to paint the hood, but I think it looks good at the moment lol. In the sun it has all the crazy wavy patterns and just looks like sex. When I repaint the car however I might paint the hood as well, depending how much other CF parts I have on at that point

My time frame is this summer and over winter, to be ready for next spring hopefully. I know what you mean about the Saskatchewan roads and pot holes, but I don't think there are any good roads here except the highway. I am still fine tuning my mod list as to what I am looking for, I basically just went through and slapped a quick list together off the top of my head on what I should replace. If you're in sask maybe some time we should get together at SIR or something?

I'm pretty sure a pair of 2860-5 cover that range. Just one more option to think about...

been awhile since I have updated the build, since I haven't actually done anything to the car until yesterday.

                            -made a video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KBbx5aBX7G8
-Removed the boost restrictor - running around 11-13 PSI now
-Installed all 4 speakers in the car (previous owner amped the back Koss speakers and literally melted them.. no wonder they didnt work well)
                            -Installed boost gauge

dont mean anything bad by this but, from the pics it doesnt seem like the best place to have that guage....it seems its blocking the most important one.....the oil preassure. could be the angle of the pics though.....

yeah its a pretty bad angle of picture, i took that picture at my chest level and to the left a bit, I set it up so the gauge does cover the bottom bit of the oil pressure but I can see most of it. I dont need to have many gauges or see them all honestly since I will have the AEM unit in soon and it will detect issues with the car way before i can.
