No kit, started very simpley as a project to have going on while I go to school for my autobody collision apprenticeship. The goal was simple, do the R34 conversion cheaper then everyone else and keep as much of the origional R32 body pannels as possible. So to that extent the fenders will be modified to fit the 34 lights. The hood is a Bee*R 324 item (uses r32 hinges and latch/cheaper), the lights are non-xenon R34 units, and the front end is a replica off a R34 V-SpecII that was brought in through the states. All together I'm at about $2,100 in parts (not to bad) but all the labour is done by me between school and home. plus shipping, paint, and customs includeing a 2 month mix-up with the bumper the project should be just under $3,000.

The catch is this is only the first half of the project, I do have plans to do the rear end conversion as well.

Have a great Christmas, I know I will.

Good to hear you'll like the completed product. I used to like the R324 kits but I started disliking the body lines. didn't look right. I was always an R34 fan before R32 but I now know they don't look right mixed, to me that is. The only thing I'd like to do similar is the headlights but those require fender/bumper and hood modifications so my N1s will do until 2013.

Getting close on fitment, hood hasnt been adjusted yet but I think i need to get some hood pins.

That small area from the r32 turnsignal is going to be welded up as soon as I go back to school, but the rest is comeing together rather nicely.

Not done by anymeans, but its driveable now so I'm happy. Once I go back to school in January and can finish up the little things the result should be good.
