Still haveing issues with stumbling under high boost, checked coils, cleaned Mafs... still stuck with 1/2 power and unable to rev over 5-6000 rpm. Any suggestions would be welcome.

Sometimes checking coils isn't enough. Mine tested fine when cold but were missfiring when they got warm.

Also change the plugs and check the gap. Make sure your timing is set right, check all your grounds, and check for trouble codes on the ECU.

I also completly swaped out my coils for my buddies spitfires with no change, The throttle response seems real slugish and she bucks under anykind of high acceleration. Gonna check plugs today, I am really stumped on this one.

Got most of the issues cleared up with the car, shes running great now.

"aircare" is our emissions test out here in the west.

Gay...how would you pass that if your car is heavily modified?

Edit: And what was the issue with your car?

Well the blown CV boots (both sides) and steering boot (left side) then the rpm boost issue (main IC pipeing on the right side of the engine wasnt completly attached) then both Blitz BOV's were done (one was seized open the other closed). I think it still has boost escapeing somewhere, but I need a day off to hunt down the leak.

Well it's good that you've found your problem. Shouldn't be too much of a hassle to fix..?

and I find it just amazing that you go from complete uncertainty the other day to knowing what it was. How did you do that? I dont know under hoods to save my life.

GTR at the hope slide, had to let her cool off after a fierce run back down the Hope-Princeton HWY.
