I barely visited the site since I've blown a turbo in oct 2009 I thought I had recirc issues when I bought yours but a turbo said otherwise

yeah, it will never be done, always "almost finished"

did you get the turbos fixed ?

not yet... I just bought a set of used stock turbos. Got them 2 weeks ago and I'm still wondering if I should do it myself or get the darn thing towed out of storage to autoworx and let them deal with it.

and i remember how happy i was at that stage of the build about how awesome it was starting to look

if only i had more cash, i'd go with white TE37s 18x10 all around, 295/30/18 tires all around, and big black over-fenders



anyway, i'm eager to get the car out, my last final exam is next saturday, so next sunday it should be out,

i've changed my idea on the tires, i'm going with 265/40/r17 dunlop direzza start spec all around

so i should be able to do most of what i want in the 2 weeks of free time before i start my internship

and while thats going on, i'm on the path to replace my really beat-up beater 92 honda accord,
i found a really nice 2000 subaru legacy wagon limited edition with low kms and i reallllly want it, i'm a sucker for wagons

i...just....don't...have....a.n.y....money

apparently, i made 31k last year, no fuking idea where that went

so i wanted to see how the car was today

so i took the cover off it, put the battery back in it,
the battery hadn't been re-charged since november

checked all the fluids,

and blamo!
started right up!
hesitated for about 3 seconds and idled steady afterwards

ilding was rich (12,5 afr) so i let the engine get up in temperature, but seeing the afr wouldn't climb, i gave it a couple boots full (backfires ensued) and the afr stayed at 14,5 after

everything works fine, didn't drive though, i feel like my tires are about to burst

anyway.. i put the cover back on it..

and tuesday the turbos are coming off !
i hope they are still good
