Do it for the community?Originally posted by frankiman View Postif i were to make the book, i'd need alot of interest for it, and money to back-up that interest, cuz its not gonna take me 20 hours to transform the thread into an awesome book format, it may take me over 100hours

Yeah same happened to my control arms, my FL wheel started getting loose during a Time Attack, thought I had broken my suspension but all that drama was just play on the collar rings that had been crushed.
What size T bolt clamp are you using (might as well ask instead of trial and error trying to find a good radius arc for the solid part)
PS: Awesome GTR dude, love the flames!

the bearing ends need to be tightened inwards as tight as possble, then you need to use nylon locknuts on the main bolts since you can't torque them to the OE spec which is ~80lbs-ft or the bearing will lock up, so you torque them to ~50lbs-ft but then the vibration from track use will loosen the nuts, hence the use of locknut, but is a special fine thread that you can't find at home depot
then because of the shitty aluminum collar design, in big corners, the collars will contact the J-arm (since i got soft suspension) which fucks up the collar alot and they get jammed and they become impossible to adjust, so i cut them off and replaced them with industrial t-bolt clamps which are far easier to use and can't jam
