Picked up some Aerocatch Locking style hood locks/pins for my carbon hood to help fasten it down. Upon first impression, they seem to be very rigid and well made. I chose these as they are a bit more 'tidy' looking and also feature a key lock.

I actually got M13 on this forum to do it for me. I gave it a go with the Neffy Wrap and 3M super77 adhesive spray that the site recommended but it was a complete failure. M13 used some sort of industrial style adhesive spray which made it MUCH easier. I suggest you PM him for a better response :P

^ Thanks. I think I got it covered. Its going to a reputable shop that specializes in restoration and does many projects, many muscle cars, but is also the body shop ZTune uses. The price reflects the work, thats why i didn't go to any joe-blow shop.

I don't mean to burst your bubble. But cutting a quater panel off a car is a far more destructive process than repairing a small rust bubble. Be sure to follow your shop step by step to insure they use proper corrosion protection. Weld through primer, etc etc.

I sent veilside a large sum of money for the kit, also had to go to the bank and take out a small loan to do so, only for veilside to return it 3 weeks later saying I needed to buy the entire kit at once or they wouldnt let me purchase it. I didn't even want some of the parts and I found it to be a rather poor service from Veilside not knowing there own purchasing guidelines. I decided it wasn't worth the hassle, bought these and have some money to play around with. How I love that E3 widebody though

I plan on replacing both side of mine at some point. So this means your not going with the veilside kit then?

LoL, is that picture of the interior with the carpet I gave you in it or your carpet that I melted with the heat gun?

Note to everyone : Heat guns melt carpets before shrinking heat shrink.

I cant wait to start my car after removing all the sound proofing. I bet my ears will bleed.
