The stock plenum won't distribute air evenly, let alone a liquid. Check the evo forums and you will find a few guys who have burnt up there first two cylinders and the other two are fine.

if your shooting it in just for a safety factor then it will be fine. If your tune depends on your meth and your running more boost/timing than your fuel can deal with you will end up with problems.

Plenum is now removed....what a pain that was

As for super dude.....I have been on supra forums and a lot more guys use the meth than the skyline owners....using one jet is perfectly fine....even talked to an aem rep about this and there have been no problem with even distribution if you mount the nossel in the correct location and angle

Couple pics of the plenum removed

Even if you put the nozzle before the plenum like sr20det and honda guys do? I want to do the same thing but 6 individual nozzles, I think thats more then whats needed.

Im using a bunch of screwdrivers as prybars and prying evenly but no go!

I will post results with the meth..

I think i may get an apexi power fc but im not sure....i'd like to grab the EMS but I dont have the money for that right now...cuz I need a clutch too

Another good thing about the water meth is it pretty much just steam cleans your motor which is ultimate win!

I'd like to see my car hit the 600 mark in the spring time and i'll be very happy!

Nice, this car is a beast and its going to be a monster.

My plan next year is water meth. I'm running around 18-19psi with ~470whp mustang dyno (twin gt2860r-5, built motor, built head, cams, stage2-3 porting job) and my tuner wouldn't go over 20psi without water meth. Water meth is supposed to give more power, allow you to run more boost cause your motor runs cooler, and makes the engine overall live longer.

Theres only one person I know of running water meth on this board. Post your results when your done I'm curious.

Also what standalone you going with? I'm asking cause my AEM EMS has an option in the software to control different things with the water meth and I know Vipec also can do that, but I'm not sure what other ecu works with it. You can run it without a standalone but the standalone you can program more parameters for the water meth system.

Somethings goig on with either your set up or that tune cause 420 @ wheels with 17psi on a t88 doesnt seem right to me..

Edit : you're making that powr before 5000rpm...makes more sense now.
