I wish I knew this earlier! Luckily the car is in Alberta now where it's dry and they don't salt the roads.

I used to work for a rust proofing company and let me tell you, Krown is not great. This essentially is how they get you to keep buying, you gotta do it every 6-8 months or it will rust out faster then it naturally would.

When the liquid hardens and turns to gel it makes it easier for the salt to get into enclosed crevasses (door panels, quarter panels and rockers) and rust out your vehicle from the inside. If you take off the plastic plugs, you'll probably see it starting to rust bubbles form around the hole after the first winter.

Also had a friend who worked at Krown and his boss sprayed a corvette. You aren't supposed to spray fiberglass, needless to say, the paint was peeling off in minutes and the owner was furious. Didn't even get his $200 back.

Haven't checked the MAFs, but I swapped them and cleaned them out last summer. I changed the CAS and still no joy.

no checked the fuel pressure the other day and it's well within spec. I'm going to change the ignitor anyway and see what happens. I was talking to a guy and he said he experienced the exact same thing with his Mazda, and finally someone suggested he change the ignitor (although he was still getting spark) and his problem was fixed.

You're supposed to pull the rubber pads off the pedals and drill the new pedals on. I'm not sure if I'm going to use the sparco pedals though, I think I'm going to buy the carbing pedal set instead.

The pfc has a tune on it already for a stage 1 gtr, but I'll probably take it to cam @ lightspeed to get a custom tune later down the road.

great selection of parts, that downpipe looks like it means business

how will you be installing the pedals, are they covers or replacement?

and who's going to tune your PFC ?

Well while my car sits in the auto club, not being able to start, I've been acquiring some parts here and there over the winter.

SS brake lines, power fc, dp, cat, engine dress up bolts, sparco pedals, painted strut bars

Stock strut bars painted crinkle black

Titanium dress up bolts for the rb (5 min under a propane torch)

My downpipe has a 91mm exit, wayyy to large for the high flow cat I bought. Both courtesy of Adam @ Feast.

Took it to Neil's Power Pipes as per dakota_gsx's recommendation. Great service there! Cat modded to fit dp.

The carbon buildup was also blasted out.

C's short shifter from c_unit installed. Super awesome feel!

    Some fresh nismo floor mats

Sorry no pictures. It was very seamless though, i couldn't spot where they put the spray except for a couple of plugged holes in the door jams.

Got pics of the drill hole spots/plugs? I've seen alot of ex krown customers who've had them drill unnecessary and excessive amounts of holes in the rockers and panels.

lol any pics of the krown rust proofing holes drilled/plugs? Ive seen so many ex krown customers with excessive and unnecessary amounts of holes drilled and spraying fiberglass (strips paint and eats away at **** + smokes when it gets on exhaust and cops dont approve of JDM car smoking) OilGard ftw

    MOAR POWER!!!!

I'm just collecting parts this winter, mainly bolt on power adders. Paint my strut bars crinkle black, and possibly powdercoat my engine covers a dark red pearl colour.

    So far I've picked up:

    From a forum member

And custom stainless steel downpipe I found on Japan Auctions, hooked up by Adam @ Feast

Other parts on the way this winter:
    - High flow cat
    - OEM gasket kit
    - RB26 Dress Up Bolts (gold)
    - Nismo oil filler cap
