Those turbos were much easier to put on when the engine was on a stand, but now there gone.
      Turbo side looking empty.

Lots of good parts going to a new owner.

      Tomei cam gears installed.

Still a mess. Time to start cleaning.

Turbo plans... only one option left. It's all be ordered and I should have a pic up next with proper description.

I always had the 500whp goal in my head and I kept coming up short one way or another, finding small problems everywhere I looked. I finally stopped examined the entire setup and said; what do I need for 600+whp and then started ordering. Hoping I would surpass my previous 500hp goal.

With the twins I ended up spending more hours working on the car then driving it. This is the main reason why I retired the twin setup. Too many lines, connections, hoses, and possibility for failure. I want to keep it simple, efficient, and most important easy to work on.

I always to keep the twins for response, but I picked up a Evo 8 for a DD. So response and practicality can go out the window.

            Parts Finally Arriving.

Prosport 45mm gauges (Boost, Oil pressure, and Oil temp)
            Innovate wideband
            Samco rad hoses
            Tomei metal gastets
            3M Carbon Wrap
            Tial 38mm Wastegates
            Tial 50mm BOV
            6boost manifold
            Borg Warner Turbo.

Kyle at 6BOOST was very helpful, sending me one of their twin scroll manifolds equipped to run two external 38mm tial wastegates. For anyone who is in the market for a single turbo manifold I would strongly recommend 6 boost. Great fitment, merge collector is very well done, price is right, and customer service was great.

Decided to go with a Borg Warner S300sxFMW after finding out the backorder time on the EFR.

The redesigned s300 comes with the same cupped tip billet compressor wheel as the EFR. 4" inlet, 61.4mm inducer & 83.4mm exducer w/ divided 1.0 A/R

              Tial Q BOV Installation:

Old Blitz BOV's in factory location

Factory BOV pipe removed and Tial Q V-band welded on with a quick coat of paint.
The pipe diameter on the factory pipe is a perfect match for the Tial flange.

              Back on the Car

              Initial Test Fit Turbo:

Mess of wires I'm concerned about melting on turbo side

I thought about this and I still might do it to avoid too much heat by the hood. I still wanted to clean up that mess of wiring on the turbo side.

                  Solution: Quick wire tuck.

                  Before

Unplug all sensors and split harness by PS reservoir/ strut tower.
Remove fender liner and pull wiring back threw body.

Tape and zip tie all wiring, extend any plugs that are too short.

                  Finished product.
In my case this was easy to do because I switched to a map sensor and have relocated everything else out of sight. I know a couple pictures and few sentences makes it seem easy to do, in reality it is just that easy. Took only a couple hrs.

                    Center Console

Plan: Add prosport 45mm gauges to replace stock triple din, relocate climate control, Bee R, and Boost Controller.

Make something to hold it all in.

All wrapped in 3M carbon vinyl

                    Addressing wiring

                    Finished product:

                      Oil Cooler Redesign.

Parts removed- Trying to make it simple so the factory oil cooler/warmer had to go.

Parts arrived-Grex plate with built in thermostat, -10 line, -10 swivel seal fittings, earls 16 row cooler.

                      Lines and Brackets Finished

Sandwich plate installed- This would make oil changes almost impossible if you still have HICAS and many other items on intake side installed.

Cooler mounted - Between intercooler and rad.
Power steering reservoir relocated - ps cooler and lines have been removed.

Thanks DJ, I like how much empty space you have in your engine bay I don't know how you had the patience to tuck all the intake side wiring.

Intake side back from powder coating and mocked up.

                                Intake side installed
Tomei intake gaskets have been installed
Only 2 coolent lines remain under intake manifold one heater core feed and one return.
Cold start valve has been removed
One line runs behind the rear of the motor for vacuum to wastegates
Coolent line accross the front on the timing cover has been removed.

Samco hoses need to be shortened... OEM fan shroude is a tight fit.

                                Samco hoses cut to length

                                Power steering
                                Pump installed
                                Lines heat wrapped and rerouted.

PS reservoir moved infront of rad and new lines made

Another view of PS lines, Oil Cooler lines, radiator.
The PS cooler has been removed.

                                Trust intercooler back in place.
