          glad there is a comeback.
I also used a N1 to break in my motor. Guess I was lucky.
all tho I never pushed it beyond 7k while breaking in the motor at the dyno.
Now i sold my jun pump and kept the N1 rev limit is at 9k
with a reimax oil gear kit.
wouldn't do it on a rb25 with out solid lifters tho....

mind me asking how much was the machining for the head? including the 5 angle valve grind and the port?

that labor is CHEAP especially for the port.

Maybe it's cheap because it was possibly done with an "eyecrometer" and not flow tested for balanced flow across all ports...

regardless. i paid close to the same for my machining with no port whats so ever. not going to get into it but the "benefits" from porting are still questionable. for a true bench tested port and polish you should be looking at ~3k

yeah building head is expensive !!!...it's all labor intensive thats why.
i am not too worry about flow numbers....i am just looking for something reliable.
