Just sold my skyline, and want another.
One problem I had was every time I wanted to upgrade parts I was set back by a $90 fuel bill

My main goal has always been 4sec 0-60 car
Recently saw the movie "revenge of the electric car" on netflix

Totally inspired me, to do the research.

R32 GTR Body weight with out engine: ????

The swap seems pretty common with Porcshe's

Gtr is still a heavy car, would be totally wicked tho.

A GTS-T is much lighter and keeping the AWD of the GTR would be cool but pointless. With all the weight of the battery pack in the rear,you won't have traction issues. You will, however, have a killer weight distribution ratio. Done right you could have more in the back than in the front, even if you have some battery pack located in the engine compartment.

Do it man, would be tits.

Instead of a GTR why not a GXi Type X? An R32 with 90HP from factory and sand colored interior (the only one with that color in the R32 line!). The car was like 14000 new, must be a joke getting one for cheap in Japan.

very nice idea! do it! get rid of the back seats and put the batteries between front passenger and rear wheel
and take the gtst modele.
it's a dream of mine to make that kind of project but I don't have the time

Lots of work but if your willing to go for it , it would be pretty cool. plus electric motors produce great torque and instant power. Talk about complete opposite of boost lag.

but I would still change the front end to GTR like i had on my old gtst
