seeing photos and watching videos doesn't do this car justice .. i've seen and heard it in person, truly one of a kind .. I'm just getting my R32, and can only dream about doing something like this to that .. Good job, mate

      thanx boys

leung23c - i considered a dry sump when i started the build but i was instructed by Powertune that it would be overkill for a street car.

I'd like you consider the magnitude of your build and HP output. Then see why it's hilarious that someone would say that a dry sump is "overkill for a street car"

Although your tuner is mostly correct, dry sump is also an excellent way to protect your investment. That is, for the power it outputs. Maintenance on the fittings should come second.

i'm pretty sure by now its proved itself to be reliable in that that sense. i've done about 20,000kms without much hassles at all. I'd say that if it was a track car doing the rounds on a circuit then it would be a different story. thanks for the advice though. =)

lol, if its number plate is PWRTND then yes it is. it makes 550kw/750hp@the wheels. i'm building a new setup for it as we speak.

Wow! amazing build! When i was living in Melbourne i got to see skylines in action and took quite an interest. Now i have one no where near that hp but love every minute of driving it.

Awe that's cute. A Canadian coaching an Aussie on the virtues of a dry sump system vs conventional. That's kinda like when your teenage kid thinks they know more then their parents.

                          To funny.

                          Absolutely stunning build mate.

parts are very easy to get here in australia. i found the hardest thing in building a car is finding the right workshop to do the work they say can do. i suppose that goes for any motoring enthusiast anywhere in the world =)
