i got the same steering wheel quick release by turning the lock i love when i park my car i just take it with me good luck taking my car lol..

I like this wheel for the most part, I'm currently looking for one with a bit deeper dish to bring it a bit closer. I like the idea of the quick release but they are now illegal on the race tracks here in Germany. Too many people buying cheap ebay ones and having them break or come loose while on the circuit causing crashes. So now if they see you have one during the pre-inspection you're not allowed on.

Dude, you have NO clue how much I envy you being at the 'Ring and especially that you were shot on the carousel. I would make duplicate users just to keep pressing the like button. Hook a guy up with an english-speaking engineering job in Germany? :P

Quite the massive start to a build thread btw, good job and stay safe on the track.

Nurburgring is good fun but it's generally packed all the time and can be quite scary at times. I've yet to make it there this year because I was waiting to be mapped proper after this build. But now it's on for sure, I plan to run the GP course a few times as well, it's a bit safer and they restrict the amount of cars on the track at one time.

I've just gotten together with an Import company over here that builds drift cars for the Hockenheim ring ( http://www.godzillr.de/en ) and he's hooked me up on a few free track day passes as well. Nurburgring is fun and iconic but for serious track driving Hockenheim is where it's at. Also going to have the opportunity to throw down a few laps during Reisbrennen ( http://reisbrennen.de/ ) 9-11 August, I'll post up some pics of that event when I get back.
