So I recently imported a vehicle into Canada. Iv'e wanted a GT-R for years. Ever since I found out they existed I knew I had to have one someday. The problem for me is practicality. My first car was an 88 civic sedan. rusted out but i caught the mod bug and bought a K&N intake for it. the power increase was staggering. or so i thought but that was when I was 16 and didn't know **** about cars. Since then Iv'e been through a few cars. a Civic EG6 with JDM b16 swap, a MK4 GTI 1.8T, Heavily modded bugeye WRX and most recently a 98 Impreza Wagon with a 2.5L built motor and big turbo, 6 speed swap etc etc. I got the wagon because of its utility. I need a car that can haul around my bike snowboard and my dog. not to mention parts and building supplies for projects around the home.
So what am I supposed to do? I wanted a change from the subaru scene but I needed a wagon and I hate slow cars. I remembered hearing about a Nissan wagon a long time ago and I thought it was a pretty cool idea but it was years away from being eligible for import into Canada. Well the time has come.
After 4 months of searching I finally won the auction and became the owner of a 98' Nissan Stagea Autech Ver. 260RS. If you haven't heard of it, its a limited production special vehicle by Autech. The basically took normal Stageas off the assembly line and dumped a full R33 drive train into it along with a different interior and aggressive factory aero.
R33 RB26dett
R33 Gearbox with atessa
Hicas
Brembos
staggered offset BBS mesh wheels
In a wagon? WHY? because they can lol. The car is pretty sweet and its everything i hoped for.. Iv'e done a few mods to it already. It came from Japan with a momo wheel, Tein CS coilovers and a massive 90mm Kakimoto exhaust. Its loud as hell but it sounds good. Since I got it iv'e put on some M's intakes, done a bit of maintenance and i recently picked up some wheels to work on that stance a bit (pics coming soon!)
