wow..your car runs without any belts or anything. I dont know if a car should win awards at a car show if it cant get there under its own power. What the hell is a car if you cant drive it. I understand the time and money involved but to win with a car that wont start??? Bit of a joke I think

I share your thinking Eber, but from the pic's I seen of the show. His car still wins / though its not running :P

I beg to differ...I saw many nice trailer queens there, but all ran! and have been driven at some point. I dont know it kinda ticked me off a little to see that kind of thing happen. A car is for driving...plain and simple...if it cant do that it should be hard to "WIN" a car show...Dont yo think. The car did look very clean though

well i some wat agree a car that cant run shouldnt win over best car of the show or win best in its class because i been to shows were the car didnt even have a motor but still placed because other work was done better then the other cars but it didnt come in first

i think felix is car is very clean and is still a car that should place well at a show but should lose alot of points for not having it running but should have still placed in his class no doubt

thants my thoughts not only that at car shows there is alot of politics
and it really depends on wat you build the car for to daily drive or just show or just race i know some show cars that are just that show cars and there lucky if they can even turn the wheels with out taken have the font off the car

so like i said it all depends on the purpose and you shouldnt hate man there alot of work into his ride and hes doing a good job but you should hate on the judging and politics of shows

At this years DTP there were only the best rhd showoff ... There isn't a 2nd place for it
and if u were In van to see the show ull know how hurting it was ... And in my class, I can say no one can come close to what I have and what I have done "sorry I dont mean to be cocky but no wonder car shows become less and less each year cuz ppl dont put the time and effort into their car for shows.

I knew I would have to defend my self on this topic, cuz some ppl just likes to hate as soon as my car can do better then theirs, but its ok that's the momentum to keep pushing ppl to push the envolop further and further,
but to me
I am very happy to win something but if I didnt win I wouldnt be up sad about it
because I know my car dont run... And its not really consider a car if it doesnt run right !!
but then I kinda feel ballin when ihave the vancouvers best flat deck that cost $300000 to tow my car there
it kinda goes with the balling theme of the built

As for what I am going to do with it
I think I'll only track it
car shows... There's only 1 a year here so I am not too worry about it.

So u've seen pic from the show?? Then u would know why even a non running car can win
its not ppl have shitty car, its that ppl dont put effort into it
they dont even treat it like a show ... To me they treat it like its a spot to park their car

im from ontario man and sorry to say i spent years building my ride i know what it takes to make a car sweet and a do think the effort you have been putting in is good and i agree alot of ppl dont but in the effort

and they not willing to but the buck to make the car what it should be and they also want to do everything for cheap

the only thing i think is that you should have placed or even one your class

thats all not nocking that you one or nocking the car or the effort man its a nice ride and good work and keep it up
i have a 240sx wide body custom built and rb26det in making 821 to the wheels so i know what it takes
but i dont have the cash like you to own a 300000 dollar rig to trailer the car
i got a 18 foot inclosed trailer thats it but keep up the good work

the engine bay looks so sharp its unreal.

On the other hand, i dont like the clear corners, id go smoked of oem yellow,
and im not big on the white wheels on white. Flat black wheels would be so pimp on this.

But other than that, im speeechless dude, this is just insane/

i don't have a $300000 tow truck....just the truck that got my car there was all blinged out and it's the only one in vancouver that goes flat to the ground likea JDM one for race car.

the show scene is completely different and not exactly what everyone thinks it is. my car has been in a lot of car shows and ive seen my fair share of weird stuff. ive even seen a few times where the car didnt even have an engine inside. heck, my buddy even pushed his car into a show cuz his turbo and manifold werent put in time for the show and were litterally in his trunk. shows are about looking good and having a theme for your car. they dont give you points if your car runs or not nor do they care if it runs. imho felix's car won because of its looks and the amount of effort and money put into it.
