After your last two runs we are going to rename you Jason Conekiller or Jason ConeBane.:-P

It was a good time for sure.

    Biggest difference is the TSC.

What still amazes me, is that even though you guys have the same car, they handle completely differently. I didn't think two of the same car could have such different feels.

I gave the GTR a %20 drink of Toluene with 94 octane and HOLY SMOKES!All detonation was gone the car pulled hard to 1.12 bar and wanted more.I don't have the correct voltage set up on my Blitz scb-id3...it was only reading about %40 injector duty cylce....Exhaust temps never went above 600 Celcius...fuel pressure was nice and high and oil temp was 95 Celcius for the first time with the new long block and 5W30 oil.
Toluene was $16 for 4 ltr's.Not bad for real Octane boost. With a %20 mix I had about 98.4 octane. They also had Xylene for $20 /4ltr's.I bought the Toluene @ Home Depot.I don't plan on using this very often....maybe for auto x the odd time and the odd 1/4 mile in the summer. The Mines ECU definately liked it...that's for sure!

Switched to NGK 9's from 7's gapped @ .8mm today seemed to help a little bit with detonation....I'm not going to go over 1.06 until I ditch the Mines ECU and pick up a Power FC or HKS.Spark plugs were $9.50 each from Napa!

Added Blitz SBC id3 boost controller with the extra harness to monitor 3 engine funtions from the ecu.I wanted to set it for 1.2 or 1.3 bar but I can't get over 1.06 without detonation. When I did a test run on 1.2 it pulled like a train and sucked me back in my seat for a second before I let off the throttle because of the detonation.I put in NGK 7's gapped @ .8 mm,I also have a Mines ECU so I am guessing the agressive tune has somethnig to do with it.I think I will switch to the NGK 9's and take out a few degrees of timing before for the time being until i buy a new ECU.It is kind of a toss up between the Apexi Power FC or HKS V-pro with the navigator.

I bought my engine from one of the sponsers here.

Shipped to Victoria from Vancouver was around $6300 CDN.I would NOT recommend using that sponser though. There is a Nissan dealer in Richmond that can order N1 engines and my engine, which has the crankshaft issue solved. You can just walk in and order an engine.A guy on this forum bought an N1 longblock and it only took 1 month to arrive from the date of order. This was while I waited about 7 months for my engine to arrive.I would trust a large purchase like this with a Nissan dealer and not shady Joe Feast in Japan.
