How was this done? And was/is it worth the effort? The rebuild looks really good though, I agree, the silver is a nice touch!!

I doubt there is that much of a differance unless I was trying to squeeze every horse power out of the turbo's.They were sitting around for a LONG time while I was waiting for the engine and I was bored.When I turn up the boost to 1.1 bar it might have a little differance.All I did was use a dremal type bit and take off the lip.

I'm in the same situation, it will be a while before I go to re-install the manifolds. And I was also thinking the same thing when I looked at the manifolds. I think I'll do it anyway....

Hey.. what do you do to make the Greddy gauges fit properly inside the OEM gauge face plate?

I used a dremel and ground off whatever was in the way of the face of the gauges on the back of the gauge cover.The gauges are 52mm and they fit perfect.
