Out with the old in with the new.....The ARC intercooler weighs the same as the stock 18 lbs. but the core is way better designed and 100mm thick. The front bumper needed trimming and so did the N1 vents.
I just bought a house so the project is on hold till december when I move in. I'm also looking for a used Miller Dynasty 300DX or a 350DX so if anyone knows of one let me know.

4 year update! Took a job as a submarine inspector/supervisor (NDT Tech) and worked almost everyday for the last four years..lol. Well it's transition time between submarines and now I have a life so it's time to fix up my GTR.

First off I ordered the Veilsde E3 fenders and side skirts....eta 60 - 90 days :/


Going to run a Garage Saurus drag wing, simlilar to the this DMax wing but better. Ignore the shoddy overfender fitment on this GTR, I believe they are Yanacks.

Those fenders are massive!! Either color would look good but my vote is the matte ti. Awesome wheel choice too

Engine bay cleaning and wire tucking in progress. Made an executive decision to stitch weld and repaint with the engine still in so that should be fun. The engine fuse box on the left side is going into the bumper and the oil filter is going under the engine. I'm also going to fix the rust on the strut tower as well.

Intake manifold out for paint, engine fuse box, random wires and resistor box threaded out into the bumper now.
Hicas solenoid coming out next. I tried tig welding the seams and the steel isn't friendly. I'm going to have to mig weld the the seams now but it will be way quicker.
I'm also going to weld up all the old bolt holes to clean it up.

Slowly digging my way back to the brake booster and finally dug out the HICAS solenoid. There's still a couple PS lines to remove as well and the rear rack. At least you can see the frame rails now

Brake booster out now and situation has become....how do you say.........unglued......lol. (seam glue removed for stitch welding).
Time to weld up the holes and stitch er up
