  • Ever seen a shifter like this?

Hey guys I grabbed this short shifter off another GTRC member. Seems like a really nice unit. The throw is really short and tight

I can't figure out what kind it is. Any ideas?

So I replaced the stock shifter cause it was soo sloppy.....turns out there was no bushing in there at all !!! lol

It was a royal PITA to get the stock mounting thing off the tranny through that hole from inside the car but I got it after cursing at it for a while.
The new shifter feels really stiff and short...I can barely wiggle it in the neutral position. It'll take some getting used to after using such a sloppy one but I'm hoping it'll work good with the twin plate clutch.

Question: I was getting some grinds with the stock shifter. Do you think that it would have been because there was no bushing in there and it wasn't in the right position when shifting?

Haha yea I thought so. I changed the tranny fluid to some Redline MT-90 too so hopefuly things will smooth out.
