looking for a DIY on removing the charcoal canister

      I'm still trying to wrap my head around that frame rail thing....

      So first you say spark=boom. Then you say you just vent the canister hose into the frame rail.

      So you basically have a straight hose from your fuel tank to your frame rail?

        the hose goes towards the front, just like the fuel lines. Well, work back from the cannister till you get to the soft line going under the car. Open it there and tada, the rest is history.

            yeah definatley dont just plug it. its not good at all. i am venting mine by the driver side rear wheel, just so you dont smell gas 24/7

              what do i do with all 4 of these lines
              i already unplugged (1) which i believe is the vapor line coming from the tank
              what to do with 2,3,4 ?

                    yes 3 and 4 are vacumn lines and can be plugged or joined together

                    2 is your gas tank breather and should be left open to vent.

                    and 1 is just the vent the comes out of the charcoal canister

                    so what i would so is just put line 2 into the frame rail where 1 used to be and be done with it

                    or if you hate that line in the engine bay you can vent it at the gas tank or put it in the frame rail under the brake booster like i did
