    Next to the radiator on the right hand side there is a fluid canister...mine has no labels or anything on it so just wondering if somebody can please tell me what it is...and the recommended fluid to use..

    The only canister I can think of in that area is the vaccum gallery canister?

    Snap a picture of exactly what you're looking at, might make it easier for us.

      Yeah, That's got to be the charcoal canister. No fluid goes in there, you can get rid of it if you want.

      Or, theres a possibility that your power steering reservoir has been relocated. That's where they'll usually put it.

          This would be your power steering fluid reservoir, you have a Greddy hard pipe intake kit and in most cases the reservoir needs to be relocated to this location.

                I actually use Superstore "power steering" fluid and the reason is because it was on sale but I think it did say it can be used for Dexron II/III system. I believe Nissan originally calls for Dexron II fluid but the "Dexron II" was superseded by Dexron III way back in 1994?. Oh, I guess you want to know that Dexron III is the type of automatic transmission fluid (ATF). Now I know some members feels that you should use "Nissan" special power steering fluid but it's your car so you decide.

                  Thank you guys....planning to do all fluid changes over the winter...does anybody know if the fluids list is up to date?
