So i went to mission again tonight and got a whopping two passes in with my full boost of 19 psi and 8500 rpm. The first run was a 12.73. The second run with no misfire was 11.981 spinning all tires in first and second gear. Next year im going to 30 psi and 10 second relm!

great to hear you broke 12 second, congratulation, for next season we'll bring RB31 R32 shooting for mid 11 possibly 10s

that sounds sweet. i hope to be in the same time area as you and your rb31. what kind of power is it supposed to make?

we took it to dyno early this year with stock turbines @ 0.9 bar boost @424rwhp about 390ft-lb torque, for next season going for a big single turbo, preferably T88H 38GK but its hard to come by so most likely going for T88 34D 18cm set up, turbine itself is capable of 800+ so let's see how the motor holds up for turbine

lol that's crazy i would love to see that when its done and or when its putting down the power. On a side note i think i might have figured out my 4wd light from hell issue. It does still come on under the same conditions it seems and i think i have found out why. I went and did the nissan flow chart again, did all the checks with the volt meter and came up this time with the ecu being the proposed issue. I went to the AEM forums and found that the early 30-1621 units do not put out the same throttle position voltage to the rear computer as the voltage that is being received. The stock ecu on the other hand outputs almost the exact voltage reading that is received. so knowing how the 4wd system works you would know that the voltage reading being put out by the ecu needs to be within the factory spec. The aem unit does not do this. SO the solution apparently is to send the unit back to aem so that adjust the hardware so that it puts out the proper nissan spec and thus will allow the rest of the system to function properly. so now all i have to do is send the thing back to aem and if all goes well 4wd light from hell can do just that and go to hell!

yeah, we'll first up grade fuel system (thought your fuel system is pretty cool) and may be take it to dyno again just to see how much stock turbines are capable of producing HP( run it till turbines blow up) then go for a single turbo set up. Sounds like you figure out the problem on 4wd system, hope this will fix the problem(it should be)
oh about spark plugs, yes, I have 3 or more bnr32 customers that had the same problem(miss firing) @ high RPM & boost due to different spark plugs(like champion or something) I usually recommend HKS ones that never had problems, it's a bit pricy tho

yea the funny thing about the plugs is that set that was causing me problems, and the set that is in my car now, are the exact same. both the problem set and the set that is in my car now and are running fine are NGK BKR7E plugs gapped to .028. that's why i was saying i got a freak set of plugs that just sucked balls out of the box. lol in my experience the stock turbines seem to produce about 450 to 470 whp at like 22 psi and then the exhaust wheel sheers off and comes out the tail pipe. let me know when and where your going to do the super dyno turbo boom cuz i would love to see that in person.

I have been using the Autolite AR3923 Racing Copper plug for the last year or so and I like it. It has a thicker ground strap that has been cut back slightly (NOS trick) for better flame propagation.

With your Yellow Jackets and those plugs my car pulled clean and hard as hell at 1.5 bar. I have an old school ignition amplifier box (unknown brand) and that was crutching up my stock coils, however I still feel a slight increase in power with the box turned on and the Yellows.

I have a full Greddy T88-34D kit on my car with the 4" cooler and hardpipes, D-Jetro running the show and the poor stock tranny trying to funnel all of that to all 4 tires. My injectors are maxed out now so I should be making at least 700hp at the crank (1000cc'ers).

What is your trap speed at the high 11 that you were running? It's not official yet because I didn't do it at the track but, I just ran a 10.66 at 134 mph (corrected from the 138mph that was reported as G-techs are a little optimistic on speed by about 10%) on a PRIVATE road with my G-tech Pro on the skinny little 225/50r16s that are on my GTR wheels. With that trap speed I could easily run a 9.90 if I could get the car to hook and shift it like I stole it (not gonna happen with a stock box).

It's going to suck once you run under 11.50 because from what I hear Mission is quite anal about roll cages.
