    Hey Bellis

call Brad at BK custom coatings in brantford. I'm pretty sure he will need to see the car. He will do an estimate for you based on a thorough inspection , thats what he did on my last project. He will scope out the hidden sections with his mirrors to see whats going on inside rocker panels etc. Im not sure if he charges for this , I think it's a free service.

He is very honest , does insurance work for most of the major car dealers in town and does amazing custom work!

website ( not his strong point ) click his portfolio to get an idea of his work.

he has stuff shipped to him from all over the world to be re-finished.

He stripped my 3000gt to a bare metal shell , etched the body , repainted it replaced front fenders , hand made rocker panels , hand made rear bumper mounting panel , removed previous bondo usage on rear quarters and welded holes and ground them flush with no filler used after. sandblasted the underbody and painted it with an epoxy called POR15 . replaced the glass , hand made a replacement headlining and it came to around $6600 taxes included . He had the car for 6 weeks and had one guy on it all the time. It cost more than i anticipated because I had him restore it to the best it could be done with todays materials and new body panels.

I would suggest your car with a surface strip , etch , primer and repaint would be in the region of $2500 - $3000 depending on how far you wanted him to go.

Thanks a million cortexx When I have money rolling in Ill definitely give him a call to set something up. $2500-$3000 is a great price range I think for the extent of body damage on the car. PLUS painted. Thats amazing. Thank you again!

Reid, Chris took those pictures in 2008. He did take good care of the car, I saw it in person while he was selling it as well. He clearly stated there was some damage and was not hesitant to point out the dings/scratches/etc. So for the record, he did not post those pictures to be misleading at all.

Was it really shipping damage? If so, the shipping insurance you bought and the car inspection which identifies what was damaged before shipping can be used. From there, you can take the shipper to the shop for insurance repairs.

I got a PM about my car being on Kijiji in MB a while back... is this what you're talking about?
Edit: Yeah I found a PM from mid-January about it being listed on Winnipeg's Kijiji.

Also, the damages are still visible in the pictures. Obviously they're more notable when they're taken close-up/not miniature and it looks worse when the car hasn't been washed in a while. All of those pics were taken from my CarDomain page.
