Gauge cluster help, (is there 2 different models for R32s?)

Talking about R32 GTR clusters

Hi, woundering if any of you guys have cluster out of the car for any reason! And can make a clear picture of the back side! And if it is not that hard for you post it on here along with the manufacturing date of your car!

all of this is because i read here and there that there is 2 different clusters for r32 GTRs so when buying an aftermarket cluster anyone should be aware of this!

Post your knowlage if you been dealing with this!

i had an aftermarket one for my gts but didnt end up working because it was for r32 pre 1990 and i have 1991. so keep that in mind maybe

Yes, forget to mension about that im instreste in all of this information only for a GTR cluster!

i think he's referring to the Blue backing or Brown backing electrical sheet on the back of the clusters... they changed the color in like 91 or something. not sure if a blue/brown are interchangable.

I think August 91 and pre are brown backing, September 91 on are blue backings. I read that the speedometer unit itself is interchangeable.
