noise problem help

hello i have an r32 gtr and i hear a constant hum when i drive and it stays the same from 1 kmh up to whatever speed i go meaning it doesn't get any louder i thought it was my tires but i just had them changed also when i turn the car off while driving in nuetral and let it roll the noise stays, i just found out i have a torn cv boot on the front driverside drive axle so i don't know know if it's the wheel bearing or the axle any info would be helpful thankyou

just to add to this the noise doesn't change when i turn and there is very little vibration if any

Sounds like a wheel bearing to me, take a stethoscope and with the car jacked up on all 4 rotate each wheel individually, and listen at the hub with the stethoscope, one will sound different, thats the broken one.

usually though with bearing noise the sound gets louder as you increase your speed, does this happen?

it could also be related to the CV joint on the axle, if that's torn as you said, the grease probably drained out and now its full of sand instead of grease.

If you can make it to Montreal, any of the 12 JDM engine shops usually have STACKS of hundreds of Axles with good CV joints.

If you can't then it'll be either by posting a WTB ad on the forum, or worst case you have to buy over seas, msg Adam from Feast Auto, he can usually find stuff like that pretty quick and fairly priced. same goes for wheel bearings. good luck, let us know how it turns out.

and trickey, I don't know what kind of car you have, but post up a picture of your "confuckulator"... i bet its all kinds of messed up lol
