Cheapest/easiest fuel pump set up for 800hp?

thanks guys for all the imput but i got it all figured out. going with a surge tank fed by my stock gtr pump then a inline aeromotive a1000 and a inline filter will all braided feed and return lines to my rail. should do the job!

That's exactly what I am replacing my twin in-tank Tomei's with. Cost me all of $400 for the 4L pot and the A1000. I second the aluminum hard lines over braided, they will weigh less than half and if you beleive rumours on the internet, you won't have any fuel smell. They will cost 1/3 of what braided will with all the fittings and extra crap you will have to buy.

Hey guys so im approaching the end of my build and i have left the fueling for the end lol. so i plan on running id 1000cc injectors with the powerhouse fuel rail but i am unsure of what i want to do with my fuel pump set up. i am looking to make 600-700hp and i dont know of any single pump that can supply that much fuel. so what is the easiest/cheast way to ger enough fuel for say 750whp?

You're building 700whp (close to 900crank) forget about cheap, I'd hate to see failures cause of a cheap fuel setup... You've got 30k+ into that car, fuel is one of the things you don't cheap out on.

Aeromotive A1000 will flow that easily. Some work to install but the shop building that high power car will know what to do. Nice build!

Have you thought about a fuel cell?
Plus aluminum hard lines are way lighter the braided lines
And sure will cut the cost

twin tomei in tank, gt4094r, 1000cc,s and 660bhp @ all 4 wheels ,, easy. just dont run low on fuel when pushing on. also has the benefit of keeping your boot space and no smells.lol bernie/uk

a kenne bell boost a pump is another way to get more flow... 600whp plus on a walbro 255 with one has been seen lately in a bmw application

While I'm sure walbros may suffice I would avoid pairing them as they do not flow as well as other pumps at high pressures. I would look into 044's or the new aeromotive 340(this pump is unreal for its size).

My single in tank Bosche 044 supports 525 AWHP so another one in parallel should be good for 750 providing fuel lines have the flow capacity.
+1 for keeping tank above 1/4. Cheap easy way not to suck fumes

you will need a swirl por/surge tank for those numbers if you plan on running just pump gas (no NOS or meth) If you look on summit racing they have complete kits with surge tank, feed line, return line, and fuel pumps that wll meet your needs. When running a custom fuel set up like that your stock GTR pump is sufficient to supply gas to the surge tank then most people run a high volume pump to supply the fuel rail. Depending on where you live you will get mixed input on that pump : In the US guys like to run the Aeromotive A1000 - thats what I have, in OZ and the UK the twin Bosch 044 is very popular and of course in Japan the Japanese pumps like Tomei are favoured. Im sure they all do the same job it just comes down to availability and customer support for me. I chose the aeromotive pump and regulator because I can get parts anywhere and they are fairly cheap and the name has proven itself in the racing community.

Anyways have a look on summit there are some great deals and you will find everything you need to complete your entire fuel setup

lol ill be running meth for sure. lots of boost anyway i think im retarted but ive been on summit racing for half an hour and i cant find any swirl pot/surge tank kits!!!

I run a gt4094 with two in tank pumps and RC 1000 injectors. The only issue is running less than 1/4 tank of fuel. Under hard acceleration the fuel line will be sucked dry. Keep her above 1/4 and it could be the most cost effective fueling solution.

Words of a wise man good sir.... Get a RIPS tank for your given HP range. That's what I have and it works awesome, also this way you have some back up if a pump fails on you

Get the powerhouse fuel hat, grab 2 walboros and call it a day. The fuel hat has duel feed option and will allow you to run an fittings into the hat from fuel lines. I have this for my set up and could show you exactly how to do this if you want

2 words you must remove from your vocabulary when going for 750WHP

cheap is relative 100000000 dollars could be cheap compared to something that is 40000000000 dollars. that doesnt mean im skipping any corners. and i never said i was going for 750 hp i said 600-700 and its more like 600 but for safety i need a set up good for atleast 750whp so i dont lean out and i always have enough fuel. thanks for your helpful imput tho
