ECU looks at coolant temp sensor during warmup (more than one table you can adjust for startup, warmup, etc). If coolant temp sensor was faulty and giving incorrect voltage, would have made ECU select the wrong part of those tables (leaner part).
Brakes tend to suck on power and fuelpump is affected by power (sometimes the wires to fuelpump are old, faulty or there are other problems and need to rewire to run of battery, run new wiring to fuelpump, etc).RESPONSE MONSTER
