as for air after maf its possible. i do have my catch can hose going down there. might be getting so much air that it messes it up. ill unplug that and see what happens. thanks never thought of that.

That catch can hook up sounds like the culprit. Does the catch can have an atmospheric vent on it also?

figured it out. i actually didnt fix anything. ive never had it up to running temp because i was afraid how lean it was running.

but when my water temp gauge hit 60 it was fine. like a 14.5 idle

so aparently my car has a really lean warmup period. anybody else have this?

              That's ass backwards
During warmup you should have a rich afr
Then when it's warm your o2 sensor "wakes" up and keeps it at stoich when you are in a closed loop

^ that would be a little harsh but atleast they wouldn't (f)uck around anymore. Some people need to stop worryin and complaining about the small problems and do something about the bigger problems
Miss driving sooooo bad! Need to get a car on the road ASAP!

Sounds like a bad solder join in the MAF, there is a DIY on Skyklines Austrailia to fix it, Did it on a friends, worked like a charm, fixed her right up.

Ok I opened my maf. The connections were fine. I resoldered them anyway. And also cleaned the sensor itself. I'll try it tomorrow.

so i thought about and said to myself why the **** would it run like supreme **** until 70 degrees Celsius.

                            hmm water temp sensor?

unplugged and sure enough it instantly went to 14.5-15:1 afr.

so i need one badly asap!

its the one below with grey plug.

btw just realized i posted this in gtr tech when my motor is rb25

                              A/F mixture corrected?

Hey! So did replacing the water temp sensor fix your problem going too lean? I wonder, why the heck would the water sensor do anything with the mixture???

I removed that plug and nothing changed actually. Everything was A1 when the car started cold, but as it got warmer and warmer the wide band just got leaner and leaner and you can hear the car mumbling. As i digged in google, people said that the 02 could be f~cked. but if a 02 is dead, won<t the car go richer as the ECU thinks that there not enough fuel burned ( closed loop ) ?

One thing maybe could be a clue is that the mixture got even leaner *---* as I was pumping repetitively the brakes. Does that mean anything ?
