    threaded for 3/4 npt fittings
so you can simply remove the tops, tap the bung (3/4npt) and use NPT to AN fittings,
    ohhh lord, yeahhhh

i really tought i was going to have the tops cut off and fittings welded in

i am sooo doing this !

can you pm me the total price for the exact lines and fittings you used, and where you got them from (summit?)
    thx

Well in theory yes , the old fittings are a pain to remove , throw the cam cover in the freezer then take them out and heat around the fitting area and they come out easier , dont try and press them out you'll crack the cam cover , the castings are crap

My only issue now is im trying to avoid using 12 An hose (Massive), but I cant get any Russel performance fitting to go from .75" NPT to a 10 or lower an. I guess I can go to Rona and buy my own coupler but then it wont match or be cleanly annodized like everything else. Grrr...

Is it possible to get the russel fitting that ends in a 10 an hose, but threads onto a 10 or lower an thread?

It cost about $400 to doo all the fittings including the ones to and from the Catch can , it's not cheap by any means. You can use earls fittings but they are nothing like the quality of the russel parts.

You have to remove the cam covers , you cant tap out the castings to take the fittings with them in place , all the aluminum particles will fall into the engine .

Only takes about 5 minutes to remove spak plug and cam covers

Use -12 size , you want the lines to be as big as possible to let the crankcase breath with as little restriction as possible.

If you dont want the cost investment in this system , use the nismo oil seperator instead , its around $500 for the kit i think !

Does anyone know a reducer/coupler (male to male) that will go from an NPT to a AN thread? Specifically a .75" NPT to a 10AN thread? Thanks

I already have the catch can, and hoses, im just trying to dress up the fittings. Its just a low pressure oil fume, the diameter shouldnt matter. Theres no real restriction because theres no real pressure

Remove the igniter to ignition loom connection on outside
unbolt and remove the spark plug cover
                          remove the coil loom
undo the exhaust cam cover bolts and remove carefully
undo the intake cam cover bolts and remove carefully
DON't drop any parts into the engine through the oil drain holes , magnetize your tools before you start ( i use a neonidium magnet on the shaft of my tools , they are tiny and dont get in the way ! BUT very powerful. get them from princess auto for a few bucks a pack)

You'd be suprised how much movement of fumes there are at over 5k rpm

The bigger the hose the slower but more volume moves , gives the fumes a chance to condense in the catch can so they dont reenter the engine again.

Perfect thanks Whats the coil loom? I'll need to take it to a machine shop to get it drilled and tapped though, I don't have a 3/4" NPT tap kicking around :P
