Hey guys,
I have a '93 GT-R. The only mods that it currently has are as follows:
exhaust
FMIC
As far as I know everything else, engine wise, is stock. I have been having trouble with my MAF's so I have decided to go with a MAP setup. I have recently aquired a PFC D-Jetro with 2 MAP sensors (not sure if 2 are necessary, it just came that way), Apex'i suction kit (MAF delete) and I will be getting the PFC boost controller as well.
When I get the car tuned I'm planning on raising the boost to 12-15 psi. My question is, are there any other mods that could/should be done at the same time?
Is it necessary to upgrade the fuel, ignition or cooling systems for these kinds of boost levels on stock turbos? Would there be any advantage to upgrading anything in the head (cams, etc.)?
Thanks in advance for the help guys!
