I've been on e-bay the last few days buying misc parts for my GTR (brand name) and came across a deal I couldn't refuse. I saw these manifolds for around $400 or $350 with enough excess shipping to equal $400. Yesterday I saw one for sale for $215 plus $85 shipping so I bought it.

From what I can see in multiple e-bay adds it looks like the construction is pretty good. Looks like good flat machined surfaces and it shouldnt have the lean #6 problem.
I tried to find threads online of people using these, but no luck. For $300 total I'm willing to be a Guinea pig. I'm going to test fit, and if all seems well I'm going to tap it for my 6 water/meth injectors and then have it powdercoated. I figure even if the casting is porus (no welds to be porus) then the powdercoat layer will be another layer of protection against leakage.
On the upside, since it is a 2 piece design, it should be easier to install/uninstall than the factory intake. I'll report on it when I get it back.
If anyone has heard anything good or bad about these intake manifolds, let me know. The only thing that has me thinking bad things is most of the adds say some modification required. I guess I'll see what that means when it gets here.
