  • Needs advice on what to do next to achieve my power goal of 500+ hp realiable

I am currently "Balls deep" in my GTR build and i'm not quite sure which direction to take to make my car a reliable 500HP
This is currently what i have in my car and running, as well i'm going in to get a Link G4 ecu with map im curious if anyone has any idea what kind of power i might see out on the dyno after the ecu with map upgrade.

    Greddy Intake plenium
    Custom built Merge pipe
HKS Pod Style filters with stock MAF's
    Yellow Jackets Coil Packs
    Greddy Cam Gears
    270* Cams
    Supertech valve springs
    Port and Polished Head
    Tomei Head studs
    Tomei Head Gasket Kit
    CP Pistons
    Mauler Rods
    R33 crank
    ACL race bearings
    N1 Oil Pump
    N1 water Pump
    880cc Injectors
    300LPH fuel pump
    Twin GT2860-5 turbos
Straight Pipped with 4inch exhaust using stock headers
Act Extreme HD full disk Clutch
TurboSmart Manual Boost controller currently running 18psi with 20psi spike

for my ecu im running a chipped ecu
The rest of my car is stock except my suspension which is full nismo

opinions are very much appreciated thank you!

the mods are there to hit 500awhp i guess depending on the dyno all depends if you want to run the full 26psi out of the -5s and if you have a compitent tuner. i also hope you got a crank collar on the r33 crank.

i thought the collar issue was only with the r32 crank not the r33

Get a real ECU. You're likely to make more power but the delivery will be MUCH better/smoother aswell.

A chipped Ecu with those great mods won't get you all the power you want
Power fc as an entry level and haltech if you can afford it. A complete tune will make more power, smoother curve and overall run better. You have waaaay more quality mods than me, a good stand alone will get all that power out from under the hood

Im working on getting a LINK G4 with map sensors. Im not sure what kind of numbers i should push for or if should stay at 500. I really think i can get more out of it but not sure what's safe with those mods.
Does anyone know what twin turbos are better than the GT2860-5's? GTRjon said they only go to 26psi. I think i need something with better flow. I dont want to go to a big single..

At 20psi you should do 500 at the wheels
I'm not big into the twins, but 550-600 wheel HP is very easy with your mods
I've been running 20psi thru a stock rb25 and makin just under 500 at the wheels or over two years now, redline at 7500rpm
You can safely do 500 and much more with a gold tune and ecu

no dont tell him to downgrade to a power fc and especially back to mafs. stick with the link g4 which is a great ecu and map sensors so you have no problems with old mafs. The amount of boost isnt important i made over 500awhp on a mustang dyno at 18psi its all about efficiency and your tuner. also your balls and how far your willing to push it. keep in mind your stock fuel lines cant handle much over 600whp
