89 GT-R electronic questions, no acceration

Used to check it that way (alot of hassle pulling ECU out to do that, as can screw up mounting screws, etc) or via going to Nissan dealership to use Consult, via Oscillioscope, multimeter at autosparky. But now I use Nistune tuning software, Consult cable (supposedly can't use Nissan's Consult anymore when have Nistune installed), as it's alot easier to check for sensor, etc faults yourself (can datalog sensors, monitor what ECU is doing in realtime, etc) and cost's me nothing to check. Also that diagnostic screw on side of ECU can sometimes be damaged.

If Consult doesn't work for Nistune, what do we have to use?

Small thread highjack, I reset my ECU because I put new plugs and now my idle is high 11 AFR :S it used to be stoich. And yes I did go for a light drive until I saw it had learned a good setup. Bad 02 sensors? WOT is solid mid high 10.

Nistune tuning software has Consult features programmed into it. I prefer it due to can see what part of maps, tables, etc ECU is looking at in realtime (can tell if a sensor is causing problems), use Consult digital gauges to see sensor voltages, etc in realtime (more gauges you have, slower the reaction time of gauges).

If can find a Tablet PC with USB ports, Windows operating system, can have like a MFD (like on R34GTR), but have wideband input, can change tune in realtime, etc. The tuning software was designed for a car computer setup with small screen.

If have a bigger lph fuelpump, it can overfuel engine (more so at mid to high rpm where injectors are open more). Also the 10's at WOT tells me that, as that is how rich it can run with bigger lph fuelpump.

Stock narrowband o2 sensor is looked at when engine is at idle, cruise (0-1V). Once engine is at WOT the stock narrowband it's ignored by ECU. Only o2 sensor that works at WOT is a wideband o2 sensor (0-5V).
