Who makes the best FUCA's?

I've got some FUCA's on my car that are total garbage and need to be replaced.


I've got a set of nismo bushings for the OEM ones but that doesn't provide camber adjustment, so that doesn't really help me.


My existing ones are like the AMS ones:



I don't want ones like this, as they're crap. They broke before I even installed them and after I repaired them they've gone maybe 5000km before wearing out.

Does anyone make better ones?

pretty much all the a/m adjustable FUCAs are made like that, mine are KTS and similar, had to fix them about 3 times this summer, but now theyre good for a while

the only other adj model i know is cusco, but i don't know of anyone using them

other than that nismo makes a full replacement non-adj one



what i found with the AMS style FUCA, is that its all about how you install them that will make the difference in the long run

edit; even Cusco's arent adj..

The lock rings broke on mine. I fixed with double T-bolt clamps (ghetto, but it worked) but now the bearings are toast and I think the one may have moved or something as my handling is "funky".

So far after 2 years my Ams are standing strong from drift abuse. Make sure not to over torque the nuts attaching the Fucas as I have been told causes added stress/ bind the bearings.

our cars just have a really shitty design for FUCAS, that's all.

I use the adjustable Cusco units on the front of my R33 - they work great , been on for about 4 months now and weird tire wear and handling is now gone , easy to install and much heavier duty than the originals .

Have the AMS ones (F and R) and my FL one got loose on my last time attack, the whole kingpin arm would sway left and right. I'd really like to know a sure way to make it more solid (good idea with the T bolt clamps btw Terrh)

Revival! Anyone know about these? You guys complain about the lock rings but these are double allens on each side.

Haven't heard of anyone using either of those though. I myself prefer to use OEM fucas, and got more camber via longer lower control arms.

What are you using for LCA's then?

My tension rods are adjustable but not my LCA's, I just have the stock forged steel ones.

I wouldn't mind going to a stock FUCA, I even have new nismo bushings I could put in them, but then I'd need a solution to adjust camber.

I had my stock LCA's extended and welded (you can see pics in my build thread). It's a one time adjustment that you have to get right (and I didn't the 1st time lol). Could have also use pbm adjustable LCA's, or other s-chassis adjustable lcas. I have a gtst though...


For gtr, I believe ikeya formula makes adjustable lower control arms that also correct roll center for lowered cars....baller stuff though. Or you could get the arms extended and welded?
