R34 n1 turbos internal oil leak?

So I Swapped an rb26 with r34 n1 turbos. Test drove the car last night and it is smoking like a trooper. Started to remove cylinder head this morning found a bit of oil in intercooler piping. After further inspection found oil coming out of intake fins on turbo and some coolant. No play in bearings. I am assuming internal seals leaking in turbos. Just looking for your 2 cents worth. I guess rebuild turbos?

I never heard this before, anybody have deal with this problems ever???

R34 n1 are bb, the rebuild cost will be alot more costy.

I had that issue with one of my oem turbos it leaked out out the elbow and had quite a bit of oil on the intake side as well, I just bought 1 oem and swapped it over but in your case look into a rebuild, if the fins are good on each side it will only need a center cartridge and rebalancing

what about if a head gasket was leaking?
