Yes it is a push type and I can see in the dust boot where the clutch fork comes out that the release bearing isn't hitting the clutch and they are within mm of the same size. I'm just at a loss anyone in the Calgary area have experience doing a clutch and feel like lending a hand and some knowledge?

Undo the clutch and see if it slips fine on the tranny input shaft? If it does then it's just a matter of lining it up properly, seems more like a technical problem rather then mechanical

I just put a os giken twin plate in my car, I didn't have the proper alignment tool(splined) and ended up using a 12" 3/8 extension, and found a deep socket almost the perfect size to slide in and center both discs, fed in 6" pieces of mechanics wire every other spline, centered it as best as possible and tightened the pressure plate bolts.

Pulled out the wires and socket and looked at the pilot bushing and "eye balled" that with discs and it looked center, turned the transmission on it's side(clockwise) to clear the starter hump, lifted it, turned it back level, turned the tail shaft and slide it right into place.

So do you have a splined aligning tool? I ran into this same problem when I installed my nismo g-max twin plate, the disc closest to the flywheel was just off slightly to make it so the input shaft would not line up and I was just destroying the pilot bushing. I did my extension and socket/wire trick and it was in.

Has anyone tried a 300zx alignment tool? You just need to buy a cheap clutch for a 300, use the tool, take it back when you are done. It's stunning that JDM multiplate clutches wouldn't come with a tool, its a 50 cent chunk of plastic fer Pete's sake.

Not to embarrass anyone but the gtr comes with a decent clutch alignment tool from the factory.

Front driveshaft spline is a perfect fit for the factory sized gearbox input shaft. It also works for twin clutches like, OS giken, Nismo super copper and carbonetics which I have done all 3 successfully.
Now if you had an upgraded/larger gearbox input shaft, you'll have to find a T5 gearbox shaft from the scrap yard... I've had no luck on this yet...

Anyway, the bearing sleeve and bearing will be different than stock but should be supplied with the clutch. If its wrong, the trans wont shift as nicely or crank walk in extreme cases

That's cool didn't know the spline was the same.
Does it fit the pilot bushing to center it too?

I have a 300zx alignment tool. Works perfect. Also make sure you have the right throw out bearing and sleeve. Doubles use shorter sleeves so that your clutch doesnt engage all the time... Ask me how i know lol

Ok do I have a splined alignment tool got it so it looks pretty centered and still not mating together at the top. I just don't understand I have tried everything I can think of and still nothing. I'm out of ideas now.

Did you get a new bearing and sleeve? Have you done this before?

If you really get stuck I have a gtr bud in calgary that likes beer, he might be interested. Him and I have dropped install trannys together a good 5 or 6 times on gtrs... I could ask him to come help you. He's a member but doesn't comes on gtrc anymore.

It's a fine art of getting the engine and tranny in the sweet spot. Try a jack on the engine and one on the tranny and try some different angles.

Ok so got her back in and bled the system but can't get it in gear while cars running if I put it in first and then clutch to start with foot on brake it stays in gear and if I let off brake and keep clutch in I start rolling but with brake on it don't stall out. Any ideas why? as I have said I bled the system fully Atleast 10 times thinking that there must be air in the system and it seems like the slave is getting full movent it extends till about half inch to an inch from the end of the hole in the tranny.
