I suppose, but you and about 5 other guys on here are in the minority with the whole machine shop black hole phenomenon. The skyline bible tells you all you need to know. With that information and a shop that has built a decent amount of high performance motors you should be fine.
They guys at the machine shop will do whatever you tell them too. Give them the piston manufacturers sheet on skirt clearances, the specs on brg clearances from the bible and tell them that this is a motor that will turn 9000 rpm and put out 700 hp and they will get the picture. If they don't seem to grasp the seriousness of the build, move on.
Your best bet is to talk to the motorcycle shops in town and see who does their machining, those guys will understand a small engine making stupid power practices.
