Thanks Rob for the feedback.
According to RightDrives when they do their inspection if they find anything faulty or not working they will replace/repair the defective piece. Hopefully any gremlins that are present due to just being an older car are dealt with before I take delivery. Either way its going to be a lifelong collector/project and I am no stranger to mechanics and electronics so what ever issues do come up I will address them.

Sweet. I bought my first r32 back in 05
As a lifelong collector too! After 4 ears, I couldn't wait sell it. Bought another one (dumb yes, why, I dunno) and have since been keeping in under the knife for te last 4 years. I think I'd rather have an old 911 but meh. Maybe I'm just addicted to spending money on the badass parts and never driving it. When I drive it, I think about selling it while it runs because its only a matter of time before it breaks again. Then again I've put 3,000 miles on it since 2009.
Im thinking of something powerful with less than 5 years use (mmmm mustang, viper or corvette)No build thread.

That's eventually how I felt about my last Subaru. Built it all up and eventually got to the point where I wanted to sell it before it broke and I would have to dip into the GTR fund. Sold it approx 2 months ago and picked up a 2nd gen legacy wagon as my daily. Told myself it was just a daily but in 2 months I have installed 02-07 wrx coilovers, jdm projector headlights w/ 6k HIDs, 3k HIDs in the fogs, led replacement lights inside and out w/ red gauge cluster, and a custom exhaust. She is slower than crap, especially compared to all my previous cars, but I for about 3k all in all shes a great daily and still have $ for the GTR.
and saw my old car the other day (sold it to a buddy who works with my gf) he took off the Voltex wing, deciding what look he likes best.
and how it was when I sold it to my buddy
