Someone asked if i had a stock intercooler i told em yeah i think so. Showed em this and they said it actually looks more like an arc intercooler than stock.
And then i have this one which is currently on the car. I had assumed it was aftermarket seeing as how the one posted above has a tag on it that says gtr(i assumed meaning it was oem), and it was painted with more rows on it. I made the assumption more rows = more cooling, and smaller rows = less volume to fill building pressure faster getting on full boost faster. anyways:

As well as what intercoolers these are can someone lecture me on intercoolers. Which would be better to use, is my logic with the black one true? more small rails = better cooling faster boost, or is bigger rails faster boost/better cooling? Any help is appreciated =]. I'd google about it but i'm supposed to be researching stem cells right now=\. I did google the plaque on the bottom of the silver one to no avail
