I really think that he should get whatever he wants

      But you have to remember.

The sportmaxx won't have much resale value on them. So when you want good wheels, you will have to start saving up all over all over again

Nice! The more I'm here the more I realise the Japanese owner knew his stuff. And now I don't regret the 13000 price tag lol sorry for dragging topic off thread. Idk much about wheels lol.

do you know if its the QF model or not?

if its the QF then they are forged, and retardedly light, quality is way up there along with TE37's etc.

the non QF ones are cast, but still pretty nice wheels

Well, the CV-PRO's are 16x7 +35 in the front and 16x8 +38 in the back. and they're 5x100. But apparently when they come from RAYS it comes with a 5x100-5x114.3 adapter plate. But even so, they dont clear my brakes without running a 20mm spacer (which i only have 2). On top of all of that, my lug nuts i have right now dont fit under the wheels so i need new ones, and my wheel studs are too long and I really dont want to chop them down because if down the road I want new wheels (Which I know i absolutely will because i'm a wheel whore) then the chances of me having to put in new wheel studs in is almost certain.

W/e we had a Rota's debate last night at the pub.

                      There's actually knock-off Rota's now too. Ruta's or some ****.

Unless you're tracking and trashing your car, I don't seem the harm and using Rota's. Hell you drive a stock GTS-t. If you do anything stupid enough to break those then it's not the broken rims that are going to kill you.

far from the truth. as much as I hate to say it, I see XXR wheels on Vancouvermiats, dubberz and vancouver civics fetching almost retail prices and they sell fast.

no one on those sites can turn down a cheap good looking wheel.

I'm personally picking up some drag DR20's for the street on my miata. all the money is going into track parts. as long as it looks decent on the street I'm fine with it... won't track on them though.
