You want compression to generally be within 5 psi of each other across all 6 cylinders.

When Buying an engine try to get some pics of the compression test. Remember that its highly unlikely to hit factory specs with a cold engine on a pallet that has been sitting for months. If they are claiming 175 on all 6 get some pics! Most RB's we get in are around 140-150, But as long as they are all with in 5% it should not be a big deal. Unless they are all 0-110!! R32RB25DET Recheck your compression and make sure there is no debris around the spark plug hole that could be effecting the seal to the compression tester. If your still getting readings around 95 your engine needs a rebuild, talk to your engine supplier ASAP!

NardCrew, make 100% sure your timing is right. If it is spot on the head is damaged.
