    Ive been doing some research and it looks like the 3076 will be a good fit if my numbers are right. I used this site to figure out:

    349.615200515625 cu ft/min = the volume of air entering my engine
    15psi = or roughly 1 bar as my benchmark boost
    125 F = manifold intake temp
    47.972148 = lbs of air per minute (ideal)
    43.1749332 = actual air flow (lbs air/minute) using 90% efficiency
    70 F = ambient temp
    pressure/compression ratio = 2.3
    41.82405027 = corrected flow (lb/min)

    So now I can take 2.3 and 41.8 and plot them on to a compressor map, its not an exact science but it should be close. Looks like its its around 75% efficient, with lots of room on the right side for upgrades and no where near the surge on the left. http://himni-racing.com/index.php?ma...image&pID=1852 makes me wonder if it would be closer to perfect with a .83 A/R.
    I found this site that seems a little different for figuring it out, so Ill try it and see if it comes up different.

      might want to look into gas.Meth,alcohol race gas etc.
      why are you so concerned about spooling it faster then 4k?

        Im looking for more mid range power and up. As it sits right now all my power is at the top of the powerband. I found this page on AFR's of different fuels, I just have to work these numbers into my calculations to find the new corrected air flow.

          Using Garrets site I came up with some different numbers than the first site I used yesterday. On thier site I only had to change a few variables like my engine displacement and rpm. I came up with these numbers:

          Corrected flow
          44x639.6x590/0.92x4500x134.25 = 29.87psi+2 = 31.87psi
          Pressure ratio
          31.87/13.7 = 2.33

          The pressure ratios are close to the same but the flow is way off from one site to the other. With these new numbers the 3071 looks mint. With the 3076 it now looks like Im too close to the surge line.
