If drifting with another car, more hp, capacity is needed to catch up.

I have been drifting on my 20 for over 3 years and it put down good numbers that im happy with, fun to drive. The rb25 is a really solid choice tho.
Traction is optional, so are zipties

Honestly you should get another trani. Even a rb20 trani since its the smallest and lightest one, getter rwd all done, get the suspension right with the proper drifting alignment specs so the car will drive like its meant to go sideways and try to make it lighter, it will make it faster, move around the the course easier and so on... Plus your rb20 sounds like should drive decent with a couple little mods. Then drift a few events next year and go from their. Don't swap for a heavier motor+trani which will be like sAme power to weight ration with rb25 stuff. Get the car dialled in, it will handle way better requiring less power kuz easier to handle, and if u want a bit more just go with a nice ball bearing small precision turbo with a tune and you'll be good to go. If u do hAppen to get bored you can upgrade to what u think would be better, but for now leave swaps and power upgrades get to see exactly what you want from this motor or the next.

It will be better to upgrade with the better you get to know this car rwd and the weight/power.

(That's what I think, maybe you'll completely disagree but more opinions will help u choose)
