Yesterday I took the cat off and reinstalled the de-cat pipe. I also managed to wash it. I then used the Jelly Blade made by California Car duster company. Basically what the jelly blade does removes all the droplets of water which means NO MORE SPOTS! And what that means is I dont need to wax it, YAY!
Look at this reflection...

Looking good Ryan!
As for your hicas problem I'm 99% sure it's because of the aftermarket steering wheel not having a proper hub adapter. Your steering angle sensor is going wonky. You're gonna need the boss adapter and it should solve your problem. I had that happen once whenI was on the highway doing like 120 from abby getting parts and it did it. Shut the car off, problem solved.
However you did say you forgot to plug in the speedo, that would also screw hicas up.

I simply took it out of the guage cluster and put it back in the speedo cable and pressed outer rim and "click" simple as that. I drove around the block once and the speedo was back to normal. Hicas has never been better.

wow ryan, a little metal polish and it'd look mint! I think you need to do the valve covers as well!!!
Hell get the intake piping off as well and do it all! It'd look mint! nice and chrome.
hey I got my clas 5 today eh?
I think it'd look good with the intake plenum/piping/coil pack covers all in chrome, and just valve covers painted straight black to match the timing cover would have a nice look to it.

That is actually after like 8 coats of metal polish. It aint east to polish these things but the way it looks it toally worth it. Wait till I get the timing cover done.
It's far from perfect but nobody's gonna be looking under there unless I'm showing it off.

Yesterday I removed the upper half of the cam cover and I'm going to looking into polishing it as well. I don't want to drive my car now because I'm gonna be doing the timing belt and lucky me seemed to of turned off the motor just as it hit top-dead-center! It seems way too easy.
Also I talked to a buddy whos done some of the same work. He said it came out really well and that it wouldn't get much better as the way it was casted It will always have some lines through it.
