Matt, the more I think about it, the more I am convinced that an RB26DETT swap in a GTS-T is a much better option. To be honest, other than the labor (if you get someone else to do it) and the complete engine/harness/ECU/tranny combo, the actual doing part of it is fairly similar to that of an RB25. And in that respect, I mean that not too many variables change. We thought the electrical stuff would be problematic, but it was a straight swap, with the dash harness plugging right into the GTR harness without any issues. An RB26 swap into a GTS-T is not that different of a deal than doing an RB25 swap as it is made out to be.

There are some pitfalls that you must watch out for, which I will share once Lola is on the road and I am happy with the way its running. But all in all, an RB26 swap is a better option. I was always worried about the NVCS not working properly, and still having issues with wiring once in a while.
I sorted it all out thanks to my friends here, but still, the RB26DETT is a better option.

Great looking swap, I love seeing another GTS with a RB26 in it. It was the best decision i made for my car. Cant wait to meet and see it let me know when its done and i will gladly drop by or meet to check it out.

just curious but did you end up using the RB25 mounts or did you use the 26 mounts? my driver side mount sits about 3-4 inches to far to the front when the passenger side mount is in place.
