Yes i do. I'm in westhills pretty often. What do you drive? I don't recall seeing any skyline's in the area.

      Small update:

Test fit of the front. Back and sides are on but the front needs a little shaving to fit with the ic. You get the idea.

Picking up test pipe and dp soon, followed by:

      Neo turbo
      444's
      nistune
      split dump pipe
      UEGO wideband
      electric boost gauge
      Z32 AFM

Goal is 300whp. I dont drive hard so i think internals/tranny should be just fine.

I think nistune would be fine for 300 would it not? Plus i'm just going to do 250whp for now cause I think it'll get a bit too hot at 300 until I can get a new rad with electric fans. And I still need money for wide fenders and vs-kfs, dmax coilovers and suspension arms.

                Hopefully these pictures work:

Gap doesn't look that bad in the back normally.

need a longer exhaust lol , and yeah nistune will be fine right up to 400bhp at least. (from what ive seen)

maybe, but i still say EM is the way to go. I know i've been something of an attentionwhore with this issue lately, but its like here in canada there's a stigma about EM being overkill which is beyond ridiculous. If you've spend thousands upon thousands on the car and upgrades, why wouldn't you get a system to manage the vehicle properly?

Yea I will get a longer exhaust. The shadow makes it look a lot more in there though. I'm trying to find a kakimoto muffler so I can have a custom pipe done up.

I see your point about the ems but I know a few people running nistune making a lot more power than I will be. And their cars are getting tracked and still seem fine.

                          Thanks.

Got the uego wideband installed today along with a test pipe. Tanner put the gauge in the lower vent, I think it looks great.

Also finally got the front on for good. Here's a cell pic at petro.

Definitely needing wide fenders now, looks very narrow.

                            I like.

This 500whp stock piston, stock conrod, stock cam RB20DET runs stock ECU with Nistune -

                            Photo of engine -

Here's what it sounds like -

This is what the Stock R32GTR ECU is capable of (822whp) -

1100hp + R32 GTR with TRUST T88 running on the factory retuned ECU after being tuned at APET Dunedin

                            That's over 1000hp at engine.

                            Same R32GTR runs a 10.6sec 1/4 on a low boost setting -

1100 hp GTR doing a 10.6 second pass at Alexandra Blossom Fest Drags. Factory tuned and chipped ECU and APET GT45 turbo.

Even Mines R34GTR runs a stock GTR ECU for 57sec laptime around Tsukuba -

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

So do Nismo (stock ECU) for 640hp at engine Group-A R32GTR racecars -

Enjoy the videos and music you love, upload original content, and share it all with friends, family, and the world on YouTube.

Also retuned stock ECU for Nismo Z-tune, Nismo R-tune, Nismo S-tune GTR's, etc.

There are more examples of drag GTR's, etc running stock R32 ECU in Japan (I think were 9 sec dragcars).

If for competiton use aftermarket ECU's are worth it because of the extra inputs for additional sensors, onboard datalogging, changing to aftermarket sensors, etc. For most applications stock ECU does the job and Nismo, Mines, etc have proven that.

With Nistune you have the option of fitting a Car PC or a touch screen tablet PC that's mounted on dash, where you can run Nistune tuning software and display digital gauges on screen for watertemp, injector duty cycle, knock count, AFM voltage, wideband A/F ratio (wide band o2 sensor plugged into PC), datalog sensors (like onboard datalogging on aftermarket ECU's), etc. Also can adjust maps on ECU if you wanted. Most similar aftermarket display devices only display info on gauges, etc and can't adjust maps, etc.

Here's a touch screen tablet PC with the required USB plugs (one USB plug for cable to car and another USB plug for wideband 02 sensor), operating system, etc -

Just need to fit a plug for plugging touch screen tablet PC into cigarette lighter and make a custom mounting bracket, taped on base to mount touch screen tablet PC onto dash (or into centre console if it would fit). Nistune tuning software interface was redesigned to work with Car PC, tablet PC, etc.

There are programs available that you load on ECU for launch control, valet control (rev limit engine for when car is at mechanics, etc), etc. So stock ECU can nearly have all the features of an aftermarket ECU, except changing sensors, extra sensors, higher resoultion maps for high reving engines, etc.
