Yeah auto dream has them for about 1200 i think correct?
seems like a pretty good price, theres another website ive seen them for 1g US
Ya 1200 seems about right... I ended up getting a smokin deal on my kit because it took so long to get here. When all was said and done i got my kit for a grand shipped to my door.
That was pretty sweet....
what are the plans for this car is it a drift car, weekend/evening car, or dd?
Well as of right now its my Daily once I bring it out of hibernation. I am slowly in the process of building for drift and track... My goal is to have it as a full track car on day.
Update from the dead! Lots of things on the go with the skylino
I was planning on building my block up with 87mm CP pistons, RB26 crank, and eagle rods...
But I got hooked up on an amazing deal on a Built RB25 block with 87.5 mm CP pistons and ACL bearings.
I will be running a Garrett GT-35R with tial v-band exhaust housing, Lovefab v-band top mount exhaust manifold, front facing intake with 90 mm throttle body, 1000cc Sard injectors and fuel rail, ARP head studs.
Most important things I need at the moment are crank collar, head oil drain, oil restrictors, head gasket and ECU. ECU being the most important and biggest decision I need to make. I am leaning towards a Haltech platinum 1000. Anyone have feedback on these? I hear only good things
I am also in the proccess of fully gutting the interior and engine bay. 90% of the sounddeadning is removed. It will be getting a weld in roll car installed mid winter. Followed by paint for the cage and engine bay.
I like this man, seens how Dmcc is done for the year you just gunna hit up all the spec D events?
I am not sure when this car will be competing. Spring is the goal. But I might just keep it a street car and occasional track car.... I am also building a Corolla TE72 sport coupe to compete and track.
I am trying to get are local tracks oval infield paved as well. This would be good news for southern Alberta with racecity in limbo
To be honest I've had my eye on CobrAA's Volks for a few days now, but I just referred your thread to another member looking for a good set of rims. Good luck!
Little update... Trying to get as much done between working all the time.
Stitch welding is in the works and I have decided to install tubs I will be ordering next week from Jegs
